hyperlink to open in Normal view?

I need to create a hyperlink to another PowerPoint slideshow, but have it
open in Normal view instead of Slide Show view.

Can this be done?

No. It is not possible. The reason is that links works only in a executable
mode. Not in design mode.
 
I found a way - add the following to Run Program in Action Settings
POWERPNT.EXE "test 1.ppt"

Seems to work.
