I haven't created a PowerPoibnt presentation with hyperlinks for many years
and forget how this is done.
I want to hyperlink to a series of documents and save them to a disc for
document delivery.
From memory there was a trick to the path, eg. C:/document.doc is incorrect,
where was something which needed to be added or deleted at the beginning of
the path.
Any clues?

Actually, all you have to do is put all of the files you want to link to in
the same folder as your PowerPoint presentation. Then when you copy all
files to a CD the links will still work. To link to files, insert some sort
of object to create the link to, right-click and select "Action Settings",
click the "Hyperlink to..." dropdown and select "Other PowerPoint
Presentation" or "Other file", then select your file to link to. Keep in
mind that when linking to Word documents, etc., you will get a message
stating that "opening files can include viruses...". This is unavoidable in
most cases. Sometimes you can get around it by clicking the "Run Program"
option instead of the "Hyperlink to" option. Browse to the folder where
your file resides (should be the same folder as your presentation), make
sure the "All files" type is selected otherwise it will only look for
program files (exe, com).

Holler back if you have questions.
