Office Professional Word 2003 has a problem with the Hyperlink creation to
the folder with @ in its folder name. If I try to create a Hyperlink, I
choose 'Link to: Exisiting File or Web Ppage' and put the destination in
'Address:'. If I include @ in there, it automatically adds 'mailto:' and it
cannot be eliminated .

I would appreciate it if anyone can answer to this problem.
Thank you.

You might try substituting &64; for @.

Hi Hiro,

If you're creating the hyperlink using Insert=>Hyperlink (ctrl+k) and you're linking to a document in a folder with @ in the title,
did you use the [Browse] button to create the link?

If so then if you were linking to a file named Sample.doc in a folder named C@t then the hyperlink field would come out as
{HYPERLINK "H:\\C@t\\sample.doc"}
(note the double backslashes) and the link should then work.

To see the Hyperlink field content use the Alt+F9 key to toggle between field code display and field results.
