Hyperlink problem

I have created a hyperlink to a file. The problem is that I can't just
click on it. I have to right click on it and choose 'Open Hyperlink'. When
I put the mouse over the link it does not turn into a little finger ready to
click. How do I fix this?

If this is Word 2002, you have to Ctrl+click (and if you have ScreenTips
enabled, you should be getting a ScreenTip to tell you this). You can change
this behavior on the Edit tab of Tools | Options.
