I am now getting this pop-up error whenever I click on a link in an email.
Seems this happened once to me years ago but, I forget what the solution is.

Appreciate any help.

Sure, create Public Calendar folders and you can share them with anybody
in your organization that you choose.

Well known (and documented) issue. In IE click Tools>Internet
Options>Programs>Reset Web Settings.

Thanks Brian.

I use Firefox and of course resetting the web settings made IE the default
browser again. I then went into FF and under the Tools>Options>General had
FF check to see if it was the default browser. I changed it back to default
and 'bingo', links work fine now.

FWIW, I understand that perhaps a lot of the issues folks like myself post
here may be well known and documented. Hence Bens' feeble attempt at humor.
However, Outlook is not exactly my favorite NG and when I have a problem
with it, I make a post in the appropriate NG like I did. Maybe Ben has a lot
of free time to spend reading every post in the Outlook NG. That's fine for
Ben. Good for him but, I don't need a wrist slap because I'm not a regular.

How utterly haughty.

Hmmm...I must've been pretty tired. I answered somebody else's question
on your thread. Well, anyhow, for your problem check and see if you have
Spybot Search & Destroy installed. If you do try turning off the Internet
Explorer protection and see if that solves the problem.

Ben, I can see that now.

Anyway, see my response to Brian's answer. That's what worked for me. My
first thought was "trojan". I have personally found Spybot S&D to be
slipping a bit as far as nailing everything. Spyware Blaster is an absolute
must IMO. Free and stops crap from ever getting on your computer via a
database of culprits. Spy Sweeper is actually worth the $$ and I am cheap.
Both work very well. Getting a bit OT here............but, I was clean.
100%.

Thanks for the help. You're forgiven. ;-)

Glad you got it fixed. Spybot has slipped to my #2 choice for
anti-spyware these days - I've had very good results with the MS
AntiSpyware tool (which is mostly Giant's anti-spyware tool which MS
purchased and rebranded, I believe).

Anyhow I don't think we should rely on any single tool anyhow, a
combination of 2 or more good tools is often necessary to get all of the
junk cleared out.

Thanks for the tip on Spyware Blaster -- I'll take a look at it.

This would also have been an appropriate place to look:
