Hyper-Threading + internet problem

I have Windows XP Professional installed. Everything works just fine except when i connect to the internet. When the hyper-threading is enabled in BIOS every time i connect to the internet the computer restarts, every single time. When hyper-threading is disabled I have no problems with it

Has anybody had a problem like this?? Does anyone has solution to it??

Did you check with the motherboard manufacturer to see if they had an
answer?

have a friend using a 2.6 HT Pentium with no problems, as the above post
said it might be the motherboard
