Hi,
I'm glad ya'll are intercepting chaff and notme.

Odd as it may sound, I merely typed a URL, or whatever, in a field in a kindof important to me table, and I do believe my machine allowed it to spontaneously alter. Maybe I just must be certain *I* never type any, web/network\eemail addresses in my product? That would be disappointing. Is there a disable-all option on these .net biz features of the product, MVPs, , w/o me then having to give up all the advantages I might otherwise enjoy?

Turn off auto-correct in your spell checker (Replace text as you type), or
at least delete the offending word pairs.
