Hyper Link in a File

Hi all,

Let s say that i have an MS. Word file, in this file i have some
hyperlinks to Photos etc. if i use the same file in my computer it
will work. in the case if i want to send the same file via mail will
the recipent of this email be able to work with those links? if yes
how ? if not is there any way i can have such a file that will be able
to open it s hyper links??

Note: i donot mean the hyperlinks that are linked to the data inside
files( like we have hyper links in Excel that are linked to other
SHEETS ))

Hi Hamed,
If you mean Hyperlink like this:
http://www.microsoft.com /images/glow.png He/she can open it, but if you
mean a normal Image been inserted to the Doc, then you need to send that Doc
as an attachement with your message and the Recipient will open the
attachment and view this Image and have a copy of it so to speak.

In a networked environment with the area all files and pics residing on
accessable to whomever you send the doc to, then yes.
but not on a nonnetworked environment, you would have to embed the pics/docs
within the original doc. then it would all be one doc, and the links would
just jump to that part of the doc.

if you attached them, it would not work.
actually asking this question within the office group would be a better
suggestion.

If these photos (files) have been uploaded to a website and therefore,
since the hyperlinks are weblinks, yes.

if yes how ?

The same way you access these photos/files via the hyperlinks.
