hungapp!!!

hi,

I just wanna ask about hungapp....what's the cause of
this??? is it the CPU or something? I'm currently using
AMD 2200+ and 512 MB of RAM!!! when I use the movie maker
2 it stops working after a while I don't know why...and
it has the same problem (sometimes) with my dvd player
which is "InterVideo WinDVD 4" .. Hungapp!!!! I suspected
the CPU, probably Pentium 4 is much better than AMD, I
guess?? is this true or not???

Any help please...

There's are 1000's of possible reasons why an application would hang, and
the CPU type is NOT one of them. XP is very intolerant of borderline
hardware so it could be a hardware issue, especially RAM. Also, it could be
related to a poorly written driver for a piece of hardware, or a conflict of
media codecs, or installing an application has replaced an essential file
with an older version (or even a newer one come to that). The list is
almost endless...

MM2 in itself is somewhat buggy and I've never got it to run stable on my
PC. Mind you...MM2 is about what you would expect for a free video editing
package... You'd be better of buying a decent package instead... Pinnacle
Studio 8 is fairly good and not too expensive like Adobe Premiere! :)
