When i started up my computer.....it would start
normally, then before it starts loading windows....it
would automatically restart again. Then it takes me to a
screen where i can choose to start up in safe mode, start
up normally etc. I tried all of them and it will restart
automatically again.....PLEASE HELP :(

By default, Windows XP will restart with no warning when it encounters a
system failure. This failure can be related to corruption of the operating
system or a problem related to your hardware setup. Try using the recovery
options from your Windows XP CD-ROM when you start the system.

I have a similar problem windows would not start up, it
keeps taking me to the option where I can choose safe
mode, normally and couple of other options but when I
choose the safe mode or start normally option or anyother
option it just goes to a blue screen. I have been told to
use the recovery but how do I get to the recovery console.
I have placed the CD in the ROM and did a restart nothing
happens gets back to the same set of options

It sounds like you need to enter your BIOS and change the boot order. You
should set it to look at the CD drive first for boot, then (probably) the
floppy drive and then your C: drive. With that set, putting your XP CD in
your CD drive will allow your computer to boot from it.
