HTTP Email Account

I have my outlook setup to receive emails from my msn hotmail account. i
noticed that all the emails are downloaded to the inbox in outlook and this
entire account is default to the C:\Documents and Settings\Roberto
Jauregui\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder.

i was wondering if there is a way to change the default to an alternate
location like my d:\ drive?

i've tried creating a new outlook data file located somewhere in my d:\
drive but my email won't download there.

i've also tried right clicking the default account and going into properties
where it will show me the location of the .pst file. i tried clicking on
this path and backspacing to see if i can write an alternate location but it
won't let me delete not one letter.

any help is appreciated,

Move it when Outlook is closed. Then go to Control Panel-> Mail-> button
Data Files... press Settings... and it will nag for the new location.

Thank you. I actually tried this before, but i chose a data file that i had
already created. this didn't work, so i thought it wasn't a good idea. but
since u recomended me to do it again, i went ahead but chose the original
data file created on the c:\ drive after moving it to the d:\ drive and
walla! it worked.
