html tags after migrating mail from eudora to outlook

After I imported all my email from eudora to outlook xp, some email has the
<html> tags in them. how do I get rid of all these . why are they showing up
in outlook?

Because, obviously, Eudora doesn't handle HTML properly. That's why I
switched to Outlook.

Unfortunately, there is no easy solution. You could use a text editor
that strips HTML tags for each individual message and, yes, it's a
pain! I use NoteTab Pro.
