Hello All,
I cannot get Win Mail to stay in HTML mode when reading emails. I have to "switch" to HTML for each email. Is there a way to have it on for all email?

Thanks

Be sure to uncheck this setting: Tools, Options, Read, "Read all
messages in plain text".

If the received message you are reading was composed in plain text,
then obviously WM stays in non-HTML format in order to display it
as the writer intended.

In "Tools | Options", in the Read tab, unselect "Read all messages in plain
text".

I prefer to have it set the way you have it; to read all messages in plain
text by default. It is safer, or at least I feel safer. It is probably
unnecessary, especially now that Microsoft has plugged the holes. So it's
your choice which to use. I sometimes turn the option (to use plain text by
default) temporarily off if I am going to read a lot of messages that I
trust and that I need to use HTML for.

Yeah you right after I posted that I went and fixed it, my "new new server" since AT&T dropped Newsgroups requires me to post in plain text and at 3 AM, well Plain text was on my mind. Thanks for the reply.

Well Gmail gets the stuff that I might read, but my other email gets the personal stuff.
