I'm using office XP and cannot copy and past ".html" files
into any version of Microsoft Word. I right click on my
html file, view source, file save as .html onto my
desktop, then try to copy and paste this .html file into a
word document. Always get the flying windows icon instead
of the IE icon.

Try:

1. Paste HTML into Notepad to ensure that something is actually in the
clipboard.
2. When pasting into Word, use Edit/Paste Special ... menu to control
how the text is pasted.
3. Ensure that when you are vieing the HTML in Word, you are viewing
HTML "source"

ps. Word is a terrible HTML editor. Avoid it if you can.
