HTML colors in this SUBJECT line

Is it possible with Windows Mail to used colored text in the SUBJECT line?
If so, how is it done? I know how to change the background of the email into
over 16 million colors, but what about the text in the SUBJECT line?

Yes if you set the criteria in a message rule, but you only have the inbuilt
options.
Tools>message rules. news or mail?>new.

First box set the criteria, second box, highlight with colour, stop
processing more rules
