I have Outlook Express on WindowsXP Home. Could someone
tell me in simple language how I get a htlm signature.
I'm and older newbie and need easy directions. LOL
Thanks for your help. Mary

I am assuming that you have a HTML file you would like to use; to do it this
is the procedure:
click Tools menu", click "Options" and then click "Signature" tab; now,
under "Edit signature" check "File" and then browse to the location where
you keep the file you would like to use. If you want to use the same file
for all messages check "Add signatures to all outgoing messages".
Post if there is anything unclear.

To create a HTML signature:
Are you using Stationery, then Tools, Options, Compose tab, uncheck Mail.
Start a new message
Format, check Rich Text
Create your signature
File, Save As
Name the file
Change the save type to Html
Click Save
Close the composition window.
Use this file for your signature.
To get Stationery back, then Tools, Options, Compose tab, check Mail.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I must be an
idiot, but I don't know how to get a HTML file. Could
you explain with directions. Thanks again, Mary

What are you trying to do exactly? Add a signature or create a stationery
template to use with your messages?
Let us know, thanks
