Hpw do I send my printed output to a file to be stored in XP rather than
to a page on my printer.

ISTR something to do with a special dummy printer driver.

There should be an option in your Printer Dialog box to print to file......

Is this file something you want to send to the (specific)
printer later, to be printed?

Or, do you want a text file (from appropriate document, i.e.
not one that has any graphics) that can be viewed in Notepad?

If the latter, go to Add/Remove Printers and create a
Generic/Text Only printer on FILE and print to it.

It'll generate a text file you can view.
