HP Photosmart 7550: Access is denied during install

Hello,

Windows XP Home version, bought a HP 7550 Photosmart
printer for my wife. I've tried installing it numerous
times, always get There Was A Problem Installing This
Hardware - hp photosmart 7550 series - Access is denied.

I spent 2 hours on phone to India, no resolution. I've
reloaded software countless times, downloaded new
software, no luck. It appears I have a permissions
problem, but I have no idea where to look. Any help is
appreciated!

When you attempt the install, are you logged on as and Administrator or a
User with Admin Rights?
