Hello.

My HP Desktop won't boot. I've tried to load in safe boot, but I either
can't remember (I tried pressing and, alternatively, holding F5, and also F6,
and F8) or it won't let me. When I try to boot it, it moves immediatly to a
blue with white font screen that displays The HP info, or what-not.

I've lost the XP boot disk.

It's XP Pro, I believe.

Any possible help?

I have a boot disk, but it's to my emachines laptop, so I don't think that'll
work at all. ^.^ just throwing the info out.

Since you're telling us nothing about the history of the machine,
it is not possible to determine what might cause your problem.

Unless you can locate your WinXP CD, it is not possible to
repair your current installation either.

Many HP machines have a restore function that you can use
to return the machine to factory condition. Your data should
survive this process. It is now a question of RTFM to find out
- How to start this process
- What will be overwritten and what will be preserved
- If there are any warnings

If you do not have your WinXP product key either then you
may have to purchase a new copy of WinXP.

I had the same problem once. I dont know if there is a solution, but I
reinstalled Win XP.
