My HP Deskjet 882C printer worked fine with my old
Dimension desktop running Windows 98, but since moving to
a new computer running XP, my printer no longer will print
duplex. I have a 16 page Brochure created in Publisher 98
and can no longer print it out. HP says the driver in XP
won't support double-sided printing. How can a move
to "better" technology reduce th features of a printer?
How can I restore duplex printing to my printer?
HELP!!!

Nothing to do with Windows - the 882C is an ancient printer which HP no
longer supports. The only driver available is the one included with Windows
and that only provides enough info to enable the printer to print - nothing
more. The only way you can restore duplex is through the purchase of Fine
Print from www.fineprint.com. HP no longer supports this model so, if you're
not willing to purchase FP, then you'll have to live without duplexing.
