Need assistance adding the HP DesignJet 1050C
printer/plotter to my XP Professional list of printers.
How do I do that?

Go to http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/software_drivers.html. Key 1050c
in the text box and click the double arrow.

Follow through several pages and you will see "drivers" in the left pane.
Download the driver for Windows XP.

This is a self extracting compressed file, so after the download is
finished, double click on it to expand the contents; make a note of where
you expanded it to.

In the Add Printer Wizard, when you get to the "Install Printer Software"
panel, click "Have Disk...", then "Browse"; navigate to where you expanded
the downloaded driver.
