HP 5550 networkable? Printing through XP

Can I network the HP 5550 to my home network connecting
the printer to the network through a hub? There are no
RJ45, BNC or other connections on the printer.

Windows XP can not find the printer, connected to another
PC with a parallel cable, on the network.
 
I have connected my HPlllP to my hub using a 'serial to
USB' cable. Then you can share your printer.
