HP 3150 Printer install in Windows XP

I tried to install a HP 3150 printer in Windows XP. I have used this
printer for 4 years and really like it. Every time I log onto Windows I
get the message "New Hardware Found". I try to install it but I get the
message that the drivers are not verified. The printer works but I get
these messages. HP wants to charge me about $12 for a CD with a
verified driver. Any suggestions?
