HP 2410 All in one and Windows XP problems

My daughter has the HP PSC 2410 all in one and downloaded the latest update from HP for installation.

It never goes through the whole installation and never installs the Scan portion.

Also during the installation it shuts down the computer often and comes up with an error message due to ICE1.X or 2.X.

She has windows XP and updated NOD32 Antivirus software. She also runs Spyware and Ad-aware fairly regularily and finds no problems there.

Anybody have this HP al-in-one and windows xp and NOT have these problems or has comments?
 
Your daughter needs to download the "Full Feature Software
Solution for Home Users" file.
