I keet getting an error message with my new HP 2210
printer. The error message states that there is an error
communicating with my printer and either there was an
error installing (which there is not) or some type of
compatability problem. I have a new Dell Dimention 8250.
Windows XP came with the machine. The problem is that I
can not print after I scan something and sometimes it
interrupts the scanning to give me this message. Even
though it says that it cannot communicate with my scanner,
I am able to print documents from other programs such as
Word and make copies. I just can't print after I scan.
I suspect that it is a compatability issues between
Windows XP and the HP 2210. I have repeatedly called HP
and they have even replaced the printer but the problem
continues.
