How do I write to write-once and rewritable optical media from a C or C++
program running under Windows XP?

Thanks,

Charles P. Lamb

If you'd tell me where to find them I'd read them too.

Thanks,

Well I'd read the programming docs.

Now this is a real suprise. I didn't realize Windows XP needed to be run
from a user program. I've been running the user program from Windows XP
instead.

Thanks,

If you can't find something so basic in the PSDK then what makes you think you can program.

Try Roxio or NERO. This would be easy!

Don't be stupid. He clicks Help and searches on CD Burn you moron. Why would you give a web link to a copy of material on his hard drive.

Could be he didn't know what to look for. I've been in that place a number
of times. Posting the link seemed like a way to help him. I've gotten
similar help in the past and I've always appreciated it. I guess us morons
have to stick together :o)

Hmmm. I clicked on "CD write" and it was not as good a result as "CD burn".
I suppose perhaps we should now expect to "rip" files not to read them? I
thought the NG was meant to be a supportive, not a hectoring, forum, for
programmers. Now, where's the defintion of frip() and fburn()?
