How to View and Delete data that is copied onto the clip board?

While using large files that have been copied onto the clipboard to transport from program to program I find I run into memory issues. In previous versions of windows you could view and delete files you no longer needed to be stored on the clip board. I do not know if Windows XP automatically only saves the last file copied, or if it is storing a list of copied files

If Windows XP only stores the last file copied, I would like to know how to clear the clip board after I paste the file and no longer need it on the clip board

I have searched the Help Support section and have not been able to find a suitable answer to this problem. If someone knows the answer please let me know. Thank you.

Windows XP's Clipboard Viewer is now called the Clipbook Viewer
1. Right-click on the Desktop and select: New>Shortcut
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type: clipbrd.exe
3. Click Next
4. In the next window, type: ClipBook Viewer
5. Click Finish
4. A ClipBook Viewer shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop. You can drag and
drop the new shortcut onto your Start Button and then when you open your Start
menu, the new ClipBook Viewer Icon will appear near the top or if you prefer
leave it on your desktop.

To add Clipboard/Clipbook Viewer to the Control Panel see Line 130
