I dont know why my laptop dosent ask me for using my fingerprint, when I log
on, is there any one that can help. and how can I save my document for my
kids without having them on a memorystick.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

Your question would be best reposted to a newsgroup related to whatever
operating system you're using, or else directed to the manufacturer of your
computer.

when I get a windows update, i loose fingerprint swipe and have to log in
using password. I have uninstalled and reinstalled omnipass in past but it
is inconvenient. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As Douglas said, *you're asking in the wrong place*. It's like walking into a
bicycle shop and asking for a size 15 1/2 neck shirt.

There are many newsgroups - discussion forums - on the Internet, on different
subjects. Microsoft hosts many, and uses their proprietary web interface to
display them. Given your discussions.microsoft.com address, I gather that
you're using this web interface.

The group you're in - microsoft.public.access.gettingstarted - is a PUBLIC
group (there are private groups) for users of ACCESS, the Microsoft Office Pro
database software Microsoft Access(TM), who are GETTING STARTED with that
program.

It's not a newsgroup for questions about Omnipass or about fingerprint
readers.

Please scroll down the list of subject areas on the screen and post in a
newsgroup for your version of Windows. Indicate which version you have and
which update caused the problem. The volunteers in that newsgroup should be
better able to help you than us Access specialists.
