I have installed XP but stupidly I didn't use the whole HD, how do I enable (and map another drive letter)
to the rest of the HD
I try FDISK on the dos prompt, but it that program doesn't seem to exist in XP

I am not sure I understand your question, so I will give two answers.

When you installed Windows XP you created a partition smaller than the full
drive size. If so, right click on My Computer and select Manage. Under
Storage select Disk Management. Now you can create a new partition in the
unused space on your drive and format it.

When you installed Windows XP you created a partition equal to the drive
size. Now you want to create a new partition in the free space in this
partition. For this you would need a application like Symantec {PowerQuest}
Partition Magic Version 8 or later. Or, you would need to start over and
create a partition less that the drive size when you install Windows XP.

Thanks now I found the menu. Alternative 1 it was, the HD was used before by an old PC that wasn't able to cope with bigger than 32GB.
