How to Upload My Edited Home page to Website Online

Novice/NewB to FrontPage.
(1) I managed to, through trial and error, edit my Home Page using
Frontpage. I saved the Edited Page to My Docs. How do I Insert/Upload this
page to my website online from My Docs replacing the "Under construction"
Home page.
(2) Posted New Email. How do I get it configured to work?g

Make sure you started the site by choosing File (menu) > New(sub-menu) > Web
(option) ?

or if an existing site,

File (menu) > Open Web(option) then choose the web to open (which is just a
folder on your hard disk, or an actual http:// url address if you are working
"live" on the site - which needs the server extensions installed.

You cannot publish by opening a page Open > Page with Frontpage without first
opening the Web. The publish command will be greyed out.

Even if your site is only one page, it is still a "Web" as far as frontpage is
concerned.

However to publish you go to File Menu > Publish web (which requires the server
extensions), and you need your server username/password (normally your ISP user
account for internet access).

You can also use an FTP program like CuteFTP if you don't have the server
extensions running, but using FTP when SE ARE running will most likely corrupt
them and you'll need your service provider to reinstall them.
