I installed window xp pro on my Dell which had xp home edtion installed on it from the factory. This was the second computer I tried to install xp pro on because I did not know this was allowed. Now I need to figure out how to uninstall xp pro on this computer and revert back to xp home edition. I have 3 days before expiration

Greetings --

The only way to change from WinXP Pro to WinXP Home is to format
the drive and start over. There is no supported downgrade path or
technique.

Simply boot from the WinXP Home installation CD. You'll be
offered the opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as
part of the installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the
order of boot devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

There's no way to roll back XP pro into XP Home.
I'm afraid you will have to do a backup of all your data and perform a
clean install, formatting the partition.

This site has detailed instructions for a clean install:

Good luck

Only one way. Boot from the Home CD, reformat the hard drive and reinstall
Home.
