How can I uninstall Win XP from parition drive D and
return to Win ME on drive C?

I don't wish to format my D drive.

The problem is that I have Windows ME on C: and WIndows XP
on D: at the same time. At startup it asks which platform
I should load. I wish to uninstall Windows XP so that
Windows ME is the only OS.

Thanks a lot!

boot up off of a WINME boot disk to a Dos prompt and
issue the sys C: command at the prompt. This will return
control of the boot process to C: and WINME. Then you
can manually delete the WINXP Windows folder and other
related XP folders on D, if you like. This works
flawlessly for WIN98 / WINXP dual boot configuration. I
believe it will work for you. If you need a WINME boot
disk, visit here: http://www.madboot.com/modules.php?
op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index

Good luck.
