In order to access this forum, since my first Windows XP SP1 OS was corrupted
and it would not start up, I installed another Windows XP SP1 OS using the
OEM cd on the same partition, I believe.
By gaining ownership of the respective files associated with user accounts
with my first operating system, I have been able to retrieve this files.
However, I now wish to remove my original operating system.
I am wondering how I would be able to do that.
In addition, I am unable to install Microsoft Word 2003 for an unlimited
number of times as a result of the program refusing to accept my activation
code on my second operating system.
When I start up my computer, it gives me the options of two "Microsoft
Windows XP Operating System".
Will this Word problem cease to exist when my first operating system is gone?
All the respective installed files are on associated with that first
operating system, about 17 GB of programs and I don't know how to install
those programs on the second one... rather transfer them?
If you could help, that would be appreciated.
- Thank you.
