Hello!

When the computer is off, but the power still connect to the PC. Before we
turn it off, can we schedule it to auto turn on at any specific time?

Thanks

Since there is no Operating system running at that stage you need to check
in your BIOS for settings that would do this.
Some have it some dont

Yes and No. It isn't anything to do with windows.

Some BIOSes do have this feature.

Failing that, some BIOSes have AC power recovery, which you can set to
turn the computer on when it gets juice. You would have to plug in one
of those timers you use for lamps in the AC circuit to make it work.

Some BIOSes have neither option, and nothing you can do about it.

But he'll have to buy it a watch and teach it how to tell the time
first. :)

If the Bios *doesn't* have an option to start up at a certain time, it
may have an option to specify what to do when power is restored after a
failure. You can set this to "start up" and then use a time switch to
power the computer on at the specified time.

Cats don't need a watch to know how to wake you up one hour before your
alarm is set to go off.
