a friend copied some valuable cliparts for me; (she has a Microsoft system
2002, I have a 98) to a hard disc; now I need to transfer it to my Hard Drive
so I can use it when editing with Word. If I try to download any clipart to
my PC, it would take eternities!

You're asking in the wrong place. This newsgroup is for questions
about the Office Pro database software Microsoft Access, not for
general computer questions.

But if you open "My Computer" on your desktop, you should see the CD
drive (it might be D:, it might have some other drive letter). Click
on it to open; select the file or files; select Edit... Copy from the
menu; open the desired target folder on your hard disk; and select
Edit... Paste. Lots of other ways to do it but this is simple and
should work.
