How to tell if I'm running through an "anonymizer" type progam

One of my financial institution websites indicates that it appears surfing
using an "anonymizer" type program, which is causing issues with my access to
their site. To my knowledge, I do not believe I've ever installed one of
these programs. How can I tell if I might be running one?

I'm running McAfee Total Protection 2008, but McAfee support indicates they
don't have a anonymizer built into their software.

Any thoughts one how I can research this?

If you had installed anonymizing software you would know it already. Try
using another browser such as Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.
