how to take a backup of a particular folder

suppose a website is hosting in our NIC server.client
using frontpage 2000 for remote publishing. clients wants
backup of a particular folder. is it possible? if yes what
is procdure?

I presume you have a general-purpose backup system for
your servers. Can't you just use that?

If not, pleae explain your client's requirement in more
detail.
