How to switch from Outlook Express to Outlook fo re-mail?

I recently installed Outlook 2000 and would like to have Outlook handle all
of the e-mail features. Can anyone advise how to accomplish this?

I've been informed that Outlook can handle all of the e-mail features, but
I've got Outlook Express now and I can't make the switch to Outlook. I must
be something wrong, but I don't know what.
