To whom may concern,

I have a little problem about my CD-Rom. I don't know
how I can store my information in a CD. Do I have to
download some softwares in order to do that? If I have
to, which one should I download?

Thanks for your notice,
Andrew Tsui

A CD-ROM is Compact Disk-Read Only Memory... To store data
no a CD-ROM you need a factory top press a CD for you.

If you want to create your own CDs you must buy a CD-RW
drive, with software if you want to do drag and drop to the
CD. XPs built-in burning software is limited.

Hi

A little unsure of what you are actually asking here.

If you are wanting to save some of your files on a cd, and
i am assuming that you have a cd writer, then it would
have come with some sort of burning software (usually nero
or EZCD). Just use the software.

If you haven't got any software then just use the one that
is built into Windows XP

You need for a start a CD writer drive - not just a CD-Rom one. Then
you can make basic data and audio CDs using XP's inbuilt burning (there
are a few drives that this does not get on with though). Or have a third
party package which would probably come bundled if you buy a writer.
