How to stop emails sent to the out box from instantly being sent?

When I complete writing an email I click 'Send'. It goes to the out box and
my computer immediately dials my ISP to send the email. I would like to
accumulate several emails in my out box and then click send / receive when I
want to send and receive all of my emails at the same time without going on
and off line with each email that I complete. I could send them to the draft
box, but this is extra handling of each email that I write. I use OL2003
with XP Pro. I'm sure this is simple, but I need help. Thanks.

Uncheck "send immediately" from your send/receive settings.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
