How to stop an "in progress" Logoff?

Does anyone know a command to stop an already in progress, logoff?

I need something similar to the command that cancels a shutdown, if entered
soon enough after shutdown has started(i.e., shutdown -a), except that I
want to cancel the "logoff" process, not the "shutdown" process.

i had a virus that keep shutting down my system beofre i could fix it. I finally got smart and set my internal clock back once the count down had started and then it should give you plenty of time to do whatever it is that you need to
