How to show real text insted #

Hi,

I have 2 cell merged. When I have more then 255 caracters Excel show ###.
How to force Excel to show thw text?

Format the cell to General.

Excel has a problem with 255-1024 characters if formatted to Text.

Also, you cannot place any more text in merged cells than you can place in a
single cell.
