How to Show "From" Field in Outlook 2000 Messages

Does anyone know how I can "turn on" the "From" field
when I send messages from within Outlook 2000? I have
multiple e-mail accounts and I am only able to send
messages from the default account. I've been able to do
this with later versions of Outlook, but I can't figure
out how to do it in this version.

The From field does not control the sending account.
To learn how to control the sending account, you need to post your mail
support mode: Line 2 of Help | About if you don't know.
 
Russ, thanks for your reply. I'm not at the computer in
question so I don't have the mail support mode handy, but
I may have found the solution: Select "Send Message
Using" from the "File" menu, rather than just
clicking "Send". Does that sound right to you? Thanks

Yes. That option is only available in "Internet Mail Only" mode, however, so
I would assume that's the mode you are using.
