how to shift shared docs folder from C to D drive

can someone tell me the procedure for this please (without going through the process of setting group policies etc), thanks...
 
I think you cannot - at least I could not just move the folder; you can copy
it on another drive/partition.

I did it a year ago for my own "My Documents" but I can't remember how! I'ld be surprised if it can't also be done for Shared Documents, provided of course the user had administrator priviliges.
 
I believe what you are looking for is under the following
registry key:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVers
ion\Explorer\Shell Folders"

The following values to be more precise:
Common Documents
CommonMusic
CommonPictures
CommonVideo
