Hi. I have Word 2000.

When I paste text, the box always asks me if I want to keep my
formatting, match the destination formatting, etc.

99% of the time I choose to match the destination formatting. How can I
set this as the default option, so Word doesn't ask me anymore?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, it is not possible at this time to change the default. This
is a feature that has been requested.

Bummer! it's very annoying.

But, thanks for your answer.

Record a Macro the next time you go through the paste steps. Then
drag the macro to the toolbar. Then edit the picture of the macro to
look like "paste". Then made keyboardd shortcuts (Control+v) to use
the macro.

You won't get the options back unless you disable the macro.
