I wish for Word to jump 4 spaces for TAB.
I wish for Word to jump 6 spaces for TAB.
I wish for Word to jump 8 spaces for TAB.
How may I do these?

By TAB I mean C-language '\t'

You've got a bit of learning ahead of you, I'm afraid. First, tab spacing is
a paragraph format attribute. You can change them using Format > Paragraph
or set them in the ruler.

However, they are set by distance, not by number of spaces because the
distance for a given number of spaces will differ dramatically depending on
the typeface and type-size you are using.

See http://addbalance.com/usersguide/basic_formatting.htm for more on
setting up your formatting. Long term, you want to set your formatting using
Styles. Once you learn this it makes everything so much easier.
