Hello all,

I've localized version of windows xp and I'm looking for a way how to set dos console (cmd.exe) to
completly english mode - i.e. english keyboard, english ascii, english file date format, etc. Which
command(s) should I run to set it (and possibly to set it back)? I have known a way on win98 (I had
removed lines with mode commands from autoexec.bat:), but autoexec.nt does not have anything like
that :(

Thank you in advance,
Y.

Basically, I don't think you can do that. Support for a language other than
the base installation language is limited, usually to just keyboard input
and character display. Actual language formatting, especially just for a
particular application, is not possible.

Thank you for answer, I'm sad to hear that :(

However, I have been partially lucky when I have switched to english (usa) in control panel/local and
language settings - now I'm looking for a way to do this from command line ;)
