not long ago i have discoverd a small problem with word 2007 i wanted to send
fax with the modem thet i have in the computer and to my suprise in the send
menu there are only two option one is to send via email and the other one is
via some internet fax service so how can i send faxes with office 2007 and
mostly word 2007
with my own modem?

thanks in advance.:)

Having the modem installed is only half the battle. You need to have some
fax software installed. With Windows XP this is a simple matter of
re-running Windows setup from Control panel add or remove programs and
adding the Windows Fax service. i shouldn't be surprised if there is
something similar in Vista. Then you simply 'print' to the fax driver.

thanks for your help i'v found it but i still don't understand why they did it
like this and not via the send menu in office 2007 i mean it's ridicilus to
try
to find a fax in the print menu i mean who would have thought of thet: ha ha
ha:)

The procedure has always been essentially the same - though in earlier
versions there was a fax wizard. Whether the fax wizard will work with 2007
or whether you can add the fax driver to the send to I have no idea - but it
is a simple matter to create a macro to print to fax - sample code can be
found at http://www.gmayor.com/fax_from_word.htm
