It does when you use Word as the email editor. Otherwise use F4.

Thanks, Roady. F4 is fine. Actually, Word IS set as my email ed--I just checked. (And now and then a little message appears saying Word is starting up for that purpose.) Even so, when I go into an email in Outlook 2003, my CTRL-F result is the same as if I'd clicked REPLY.

Perhaps there is another problem: When (e-mail address removed) said there was
an answer to my question, it offered options: "Read and rate the response"
and
If the response did not answer your question, click this link to continue
receiving notifications for this thread." Multiple attempts to use either
result in failure--I get as far as
http://www.microsoft.com/wn3/aspx/n...mid=850572dd-cf39-4642-91a8-f933f2ca09bb--but
the screen remains blank. Anyway, at least I've got F4 on my side. Thanks
again.

Correct, CTRL+F is the keyboard shortcut to forward a message.

As for the notification emails; they seem to get broken every now and then.
Personally I don't access the newsgroups via the web based interface but use
a newsreader (Windows Live Mail) to read these newsgroups. I can understand
you do not do that if you are an occasional user of these newsgroup. I
believe the website also offers you to view responses to your treads after
you log back in. So I wouldn't pay too much attention to the notification
emails; just see them as a notification that you have new replies and need
to log in to see them ;-)
