I have a bunch of emails I want to save as text.

I tried dragging but they saved as .msg files and it takes Outlook to open
them it seems.

I don't want to have to open each one and do a Save As because this would
take days.

I tried selecting a bunch of them and doing Save As but that didn't seem to
want to work.

How can I do this?

thanks for any help.

Selecting all then file, save as should work... what happens when you try?

What version of Outlook?

Opps, your right. It does seem to work. I think I may have been looking at
it incorrectly.

Thanks for prompting me to take another look.

We've seen problems with the old format pst and the RTM version of Outlook
where only headers were saved, but it should work fine with SP1 or an new
Unicode pst. It's possible when you tried it before that you had that
problem.
